You’re an Idiot

Many of you may already know my religious views, or lack there of, shall I say. Because I don’t believe that if I don’t live my life according to how some higher power may mark me on it, does that make it okay to say, hurt another human? Murder? Steal? Of course not. I still have morals, feelings, a family, I love, I hate, I feel happiness and sadness, compassion and sympathy. I have full respect for the faithful of every religious background. The video “Atheist” posted on Youtube by Zakiechan helped me realize how many others feel the same as I do. The video is not intended to make people lose faith, it’s only goal is to help those who find atheists as godless, moral less people realize, we’re not all that bad, and we’re regular goodhearted, law abiding citizens (in fact we’re less likely to commit a crime, and less likely to get a divorce) that you interact with every single day.

So I happened by TheAmazingAtheist whom I agree with about half of the time. I don’t always like the way he words things, or his specific views. But he had a video in his autoplay that made my blood boil. An interview with a couple, the husband undecided in his vote for the president and the wife a clear McCain supporter, why? Because she can’t imagine having a president named “Obama” or a leader with an atheist mother. The ignorance in this video was appalling. I nearly jumped through my monitor to slap some sense into her…
