Talkin Tube 2 – The Demon Lo

If you were an independent film maker with an advertising budget of $0.00, what would you do? Well, if you’re already part of the Youtube community, the answer is simple. Create a Youtube channel dedicated to getting the word out and generating a buzz.

Contrary to popular belief, a movie doesn’t get produced and end up in theaters or your local movie store without a lot of hard work, time and dedication. At least not those that aren’t big budget films starring Brad Pitt.

Writter/Director Travis Betz, who’s indie film “Sunday” was called “The best indie film of 2008″ by the Independent Critic, and I had an interview earlier this week which can be viewed on the latest episode of Talkin Tube. Travis hopes that weekly (and hilarious I might ad) vlog updates, that will bring us, the viewer, to marketing meetings and film festivals will bring awareness of the movie and that “pesky demon Lo” to a wider range of viewers.

The cast includes a wide range of talents from regulars of the Youtube scene, critically acclaimed indie movie talents, and those that have appeared in Seinfeld and Evan All Mighty. Producers Jessica Petelle and Aaron Gaffey both have years of experience either acting in or producing films.

The only thing more fun than the first vlog on The Demon Lo‘s Youtube channel is the eerily fun and fabulously designed website thedemonlo.com. With creepy music, great cast bios and fun downloads, this site gets 5 stars from me.
