It’s been forever since I’ve been on facebook. I’m really just not that into it! Well, I went on the other day and updated my profile, along with my graduating class… I could not believe all the people I’ve just run into on that site. People I haven’t talked to or seen since highschool! And it seems so ironic… I’m hard wired to the internet as it is, and all my viewers are aware of that! But to then see people who I literally haven’t spoken to in a decade… WOW!

Nanny Update

After a month of looking and lost time between my husband and I, we’ve finally found a great nanny for the kids. I wasn’t getting many bites with the ad on Craigslist, certainly not as many as I did the first time around. But Alicia is great and the kids love her. She actually takes the kids outdoors! GASP! She always has a smile on her face and the house is picked up when I come home from a 12 hour day over on the ‘Tucket. She’s great, ‘nough said.

So, what happened this weekend? We needed a sitter for Saturday because my husband, son, dad and mom were all going to the Island for a fun day together, fly over for the day, shop, eat, watch the boats go by, take it all in and come on home. Problem was, our regular girl wasn’t able to sit, so I had to find someone else. Well, I found drip face. A women with clearly the same personality as a walrus. Not only did I worry about the girls the entire time I was gone, but came home to a dirty house, lunch still in pans on the stove (5hrs later), dishes stacked up in the sink, etc…. I thought that was pretty lame of her to do that and only got really pissed when I went to change the girls and found they were both sore and red (for those non-parents, that means they may have sat in poop for a few minutes too long) I mean, what the hell was she DOING for the entire day?! I really hope I never see that women again… I’m positive I’ll be posting a video on the subject very shortly.
